Latest Work

This is my latest piece, completed about three weeks ago. It was for an article about the negative impact the fashion industry has on young girls and their body image. I chose to focus on the "thinness making women crazy" aspect of the article.

There were a few more steps in there, of course, but these are the most important.

I don't usually do shading, I tend to think my work looks more fun without it - you know, more punchy - but I'm really pleased with the way the shading works here. I don't think the dimensionality of the woman's skinniness would've been captured as well using flat colors.
